We are establishing a nationwide web-based network.: We are building a nationwide web-based network targeting very low birth weight infants (VLBWI), born with a birth weight of less than 1,500g, or infants born at less than 32 weeks of gestational age, who account for the majority of neonatal deaths and major complications.

We are generating data for the contribution to the standardization and advancement of management techniques for VLBWIs: We aim to create an evidence-based disease management foundation by elucidating the characteristics and relevant risk factors of premature infants, including domestic VLBWIs. Through comparative analysis with indicators within the KNN-affiliated hospitals or in international networks, we contribute to the standardization and advancement of management techniques for VLBWIs.

We seek to improve survival rates and enhance the quality of life of premature infants.: In the era of low birth rates, we seek to improve survival rates and enhance the quality of life of premature infants by providing evidence-based treatment and management methods for high-risk newborns.
